I love large blueberries. But not all large blueberries have a great a taste. Herbert is as big if not larger than chandlers. Nearly one-inch fruit is
perfectly sweet with a tart blueberry zing. Developed in 1932, introduced in 1953. Cold-hardy. Ripens in
late July. Self-pollinating, but will yield larger crops if pollinated
with another blueberry variety
