Lost the tag to this fig

I lost the tag to this fig. And it's produced a very interesting looking breba. Just one. It tasted ok like a more concentrated Desert King. Unfortunately, every time  I put an organza bag over a fig the ants seem to find it and I'm left with this awful fear factor decision on whether or not I should eat it.

I didn't eat the eye but I did taste the unaffected part. Fear is not a factor for me when it comes to eating figs.
