Tasting the Bathenjani Fig Breba 8/8/18

I originally got cuttings of this variety back in Sept 2015. This figs origin is from Israel. Picked 8/8/18

The fruit on the originally post looked much bigger and tastier. I'm hoping htere's a major difference between the breba and the main crop.

It's been 3yrs and it's finally given me 1 itty bity breba.

Weighed in at 7grams. It's one of the smallest for sure.

Tight eye on this fig which means there's less chance of spoiling.

I had higher expectations for this fig, since the original posters fig looked like this.

Anyhow here's the rating on the single breba of Bathenjani

Bathenjani (8/05/18) 3yr old plant

Taste: 5.5
