Are Cherimoyas Cold Hardy?

Last winter was a hard lesson for me. I learned that the tropicals may survive our winters in a greenhouse but they do not go dormant and still require watering. Which I did not do. All of the figs did fine but I killed off hundreds of dollars worth of tropicals.

After being cooped up in the house all winter, the 3yr old cherimoya looks a bit rag tag from being in the dry air of the house. This is it's first taste of real sun in months. I plan on up potting it this year and pumping it up with a regulated fertilization schedule. Hopefully I can get some flowers this year.

Cherimoya Update 8/22/15

Here's my second yr Cherimoya that I've grown from seed. It's about 5ft tall now, I love how healthy the leaves all look. It maybe due for an up potting but Summer is almost over and I'd rather it lignify it's new growth before winter than it will be brought into the house to wait out the winter.
