DO NOT SOAK YOUR FIG CUTTINGS

Through lots of trial and error. I've learned that fig cuttings do not like lots of water. If you over saturate your cutting the bark and cambian layer will turn to mush and slough off. It's better to be on the dry side than to leave your cuttings in water.

    My cuttings look like root-beer floats!
    I use pearlite layered with compost. about 50-50
